To perform the wet care method on leather gloves, you will need to be careful and patient. Before you start care procedures, you need to find out how the leather is going to react to the chemicals you’re about to use, otherwise, you can ruin the gloves and will not be able to restore them at home.

  1. The easiest and most popular way to care is washing with baby soap. To do this, slightly wet the gloves in warm water and put them on your hands, so while drying they do not shrink and are not damaged. Then clean them in warm soapy water, as if you were washing your hands. Pour the solution over the entire gloves, then clean them with a soft rag, and then dry the gloves, but not near the radiator or under the sun.   3. A solution of 10% ammonia will help you get your gloves soft and shiny. Dilute 1 part ammonia in 4 parts of water, mix thoroughly.
